Check In:

Check in time is 2pm and check out is 10am. Reception is open Mon to Fri 9.00am-5.00pm, Saturdays 9.00am -3.00pm and Sundays/Public Holidays 9am -12pm. Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Years Day.

If you are arriving outside these reception hours, please contact Pinnacles PRIOR to the day of arrival to organise registration and key collection.

Check Out:

Check out time is 10am. Due to high levels of occupancy at Pinnacles year round we are unable to guarantee late checkouts.

Tours:

Pinnacles Resort offers a full tour booking service with most operators offering a complimentary pick up and drop off at the resort. If you wish to experience the best the Whitsunday’s has to offer please visit the tours page on our website.

We have a comprehensive list with live availability or direct enquiries available. We recommend pre booking your tours to avoid disappointment in particular if you would like a scenic view from the air of the Whitsundays. A $5 per person discount is available for full day tours booked through our office or the link provided. Tours booked through our office can be then added to your room account for payment on arrival at the resort.

Airport Transfers:

If you are arriving into Proserpine/Whitsunday Coast Airport we can pre-book your transfers on a shuttle service . Please visit our airport transfer booking form. If you are celebrating a special occasion or would prefer a private transfer these can be arranged (subject to availability) from $190 each way.

Cruise Whitsunday’s looks after our transfers from Hamilton Island Airport. The timetable ensures there is a vessel available to meet all arriving and departing flights. The transfers across from Hamilton Island into the Port of Airlie are from $55 per person one way. On arrival into Abel Point we are a short taxi ride to the resort or alternatively you can take the shuttle bus that meets the vessel.

Car Hire:

A number of car rental companies are located at Proserpine airport including Hertz, Thrifty and Avis. 

 

Provisioning/Special Occasion:

Breakfast Hampers, Cheese/Grazing platters, wine and flowers can be arranged for your arrival by our staff. Please visit this page for further details and pricing.

If you would like us to assist in arranging something not shown please enquire.

Please note that no glass is permitted in the pool area. If placing online orders or pickups from local retailers/outlets please take this into consideration.

Pinnacles Resort has a strict NO PARTY, NO EXCESSIVE NOISE policy. All guests sign at check in that they will adhere to this policy. This policy has been designed to ensure the comfort of all guests. Any guests that fail to abide may be evicted without refund.

 

 

Cancellation Policy

Payment Terms:
  • In order to confirm your reservation, a $100.00 deposit is required at the time of booking and payable via credit/debit card.
  • Failure to receive this deposit will result in automatic cancellation of the booking.
  • Payment of the final balance is due 14 days prior to your arrival date and will be processed on the nominated credit card.
Cancellation Policy:
  • Failure to receive the final balance of payment 14 days prior to your arrival will result in the automatic cancellation of your reservation and the forfeit of the deposit.
  • Cancellations of bookings received more than 14 days prior to the arrival date must be made in writing and will incur a $100 administration fee or the booking dates can be changed*, please refer to ‘Change of Dates Terms’ below.
  • Cancellations received within 14 days of your arrival date are non-refundable with no date changes applicable.
Change of date terms:
  • Change of dates can be made at any time up until 14 days prior to arrival. Please note there is a limit of one change of dates over the lifetime of the booking and must be within 12 months. Date changes are subject to pricing and availability for the newly requested dates.
  • Early departure: No refunds will be given should you decide to reduce your stay as an inhouse guest.

 

COVID Cancellation/Terms & Conditions Policy:

If you have a holiday booked direct with Pinnacles Resort and your travel is impacted by an interstate Queensland Border closure or intrastate travel restrictions please see below for our terms and conditions related to your travel. If you have booked through a travel agent or online agest such as Booking.com , Wotif or Expedia you will need to get in contact with them directly as they may have different terms and conditions.

If you live interstate:

  • And have paid your final balance (14 days prior to arrival) while the Queensland border is closed to your state, the standard cancellation policy applies being non-refundable within 14 days of travel.
  • If you have paid your final balance while the Queensland border is open to your state and there is a sudden Queensland border closure after your final balance payment, you will be refunded in full without penalty.
  • If you have not paid your final balance, standard cancellation policy applies.

If you live intrastate:

  • And have paid your final balance (14 days prior to arrival) while their are Queensland intrastate travel restrictions in place, the standard cancellation policy applies being non-refundable within 14 days of travel.
  • If you have paid your final balance while there are no travel restrictions in place and there is a sudden restriction for your region, you will be refunded in full without penalty.
  • If you have not paid your final balance, standard cancellation policy applies.

Please note that proof of residency may be applicable.
